The edge of the metal shade is defined by a ring that has period-authentic thumbscrews and a frosted glass diffuser. Ordered the black metal version (which has a tendency to easily show dust), easy installation, made of metal and real glass. Was missing one screw however, I ended up having to get creative as this screw is one without a head. Shipping was quick but without any updates (so I didn’t know it was being delivered on the day I received it). I compared online with other companies, and this was the best price by far. I would purchase again from Lighting Originals and would recommend to others.
